Let’s be honest, when it gets down to it, sneakers really are the most comfortable shoe to wear.  Case in point – we took the boys to Six Flags on Sunday and what did I wear on my feet ?  That’s right… sneakers!!  That got me to thinking about how boots and booties don’t always have to be the “go to” shoe for the cold weather months!  I styled these sneakers 3 different ways, but honestly the possibilities are endless.  Not only can you wear sneakers with leggings and denim, but they actually look adorable with a tee shirt dress or sweater dress too.   Most days you will find me in an oversized poncho or sweatshirt, leggings, and sneakers.  P.S. I have owned a zillion leggings in my life and these Zella ones are my favorite.

As you already know, there are a ton of  different places to buy sneakers, however in my opinion Nordstrom has the best selection of trend/athleisure sneakers that look great worn with street clothes, or even workout wear.  Just a few years ago pretty much the only time people wore sneakers was to workout, but we have come such a long way!  I’m even a big fan of high tops.  I know they aren’t for everyone, but I just adore these.
