Hi friends! Long time no talk. We are back from our vacation to Mexico and in full swing of all things school and spring sports. We are going to lots of baseball games and to and from practices, so a vacation was much needed and we feel refreshed and ready to finish out the school year! I got lots of questions about where we stayed and have been dying to share everything with you. Plus I know lots of people have summer vacations planned, so I wanted to share all the vacation fashion inspiration too.

We LOVED the villa we stayed at. We stayed in a private house at Casa Descalza right on the beach near Puerto Escondido in southern Mexico. The house was gorgeous and I could not recommend enough! We had everything we needed and were able to enjoy lots of pool and beach time. The boys took surf lessons and we went deep sea fishing. Which will be the last time for me! It was a small boat and I got sooo seasick. But definitely worth the experience. We released baby sea turtles too. It was truly an amazing vacation, so if you’re looking for plenty of sun and sea with an incredible place to stay, definitely check out Casa Descalza.

I loved this Target set for easy lounging around the pool. You can mix and match the pieces and it has a matching swimsuit as well. The geometric pattern and colors were perfect for Mexico. Each piece is $25 and under.

This swim coverup is so good that I have it in 3 colors! It’s from Amazon and under $30. I love the crochet look, and it’s lightweight with good coverage as well. You could definitely throw this over a swimsuit and wear to lunch on a patio.

Can you believe this swimsuit is from Amazon?? It is SO chic. And very flattering… the cutouts are perfect for those who don’t want to show their full stomach. The back has full coverage and it also has removable pads.

This shirt dress has the perfect print for a beach vacation! And it’s such an easy but elevated look. I loved it for the super hot weather in Mexico and it wore nicely on a day I was feeling a bit sunburnt 🤣

Amazon swimsuit (small) // Bag

One of my staple swimsuits! It’s from Amazon and around $30. It comes in multiple colors too. It’s very flattering and is one of those pieces that will always stay in style.

Colorblock dress (small)

How fabulous is this dress?? The colors are so vibrant and fun. I wore this to dinner one night. It’s easy and comfortable to wear but a statement piece.

Amazon swim sarong set (small) // Sandals // Bag

This set is great quality for the price, the suit and sarong are under $25! I love the pattern of the sarong and the orange suit would look cute with some denim shorts as well. It was a favorite new purchase for the trip!

Maxi dress (small)

If you have been eyeing this dress from Amazon, it is half off right now and under $20! Perfect not just for a beach vacation, but for all summer long. It comes in several colors and can be styled up or down.

Swimsuit (size 2-4)

This swimsuit is reversible! Both sides are too cute. I don’t have anything like this and it has quickly become a favorite. Love getting two suits for the price of one and it’s under $35.

Black sundress (small) // Sandals

This dress is great for a daytime or evening look. It would even work with sneakers for a more casual look! I loved it for vacation but will definitely wear it all summer long. It’s under $75 and comes in white too.

This was a fun look for dinner one night. It’s from Amazon too! Comes in many different colors and patterns but I thought this multicolor one was perfect for the beach.

This adorable little top was a last minute buy for our trip and I love it so much! It’s Free People from Revolve and on major sale right now. I think it will be cute for summer concerts too! These are my all-time favorite denim shorts as well.

This Farm Rio skirt is a STUNNER. So unique and fun, I couldn’t wait to wear it at the beach. Also showing you another way to wear this Target top. Love the mixing of patterns.

Free People set (extra small) // Bag // Sandals

I love this matching set for the spring to summer transition, but it was also great for traveling too. I wore it with sneakers for the long travel day home and it was comfortable and cute.
