We just got a “cold front” here in Texas. Meaning it’s chilly in the morning now and hot in the afternoon. No complaints here. I wasn’t a big fan of shooting jackets and sweater dresses looks in 100 degree weather. It’s A LOT more bearable now. I shared four of my favorite jackets for fall two years ago and I thought it would be fun to update this post to show you the four jackets I’m loving now as well as take a trip down memory lane (rip to my blonde hair ????). These jackets I’ll be showing are more lightweight which is perfect for fall. I’ll be working on a fall/winter coat post in the coming weeks!

Jacket 1 – Madewell Olive Passenger Jacket

Outfit 1 – Utility jackets have always been at the top of my list and they just never go out of style!  This one has such a nice structured fit and I love that it can be worn for spring and fall. For spring, I wore it with shorts, a tank or bodysuit, and sandals/sneakers. For fall, you can wear it with a sweater dress or leggings/jeans with booties – it’s so versatile! I’m wearing a small in the sweater dress and have it in ivory too 🙂

Also pictured are my latest Golden Goose sneaker purchase. You guys have probably seen how much I wear these pair. After they launched their fall collection recently, I saw these and fell in love. The allover studs are so fun and different – definitely keepers!

Jacket 2 – Blank NYC Suede Moto Jacket

Outfit 2 – This is the infamous moto jacket that stays in style every year and I can see why.  The fit and feel is so good and trust me, you will be giddy when it arrives.

I have a huge love for distressed denim. In fact, these are probably one of my most worn pairs. Once the weather starts to get too chilly for holey jeans, I tend to wear dark denim much more. I went with my normal size in the jeans.

Jacket 3 – BB Dakota Faux Leather Moto Jacket

Outfit 3 – The sister of the first jacket! I originally bought it in the ivory blush color, but I saw it on sale for 40% off and had to get it in brown too. Yes call me crazy, but I am obsessed with moto jackets for fall and you just can’t beat the price! The brown comes in such a rich color that’s perfect for fall. I went with my usual size (small) and there is still enough room to layer sweaters underneath without feeling constricted. It’s perfect to wear with white jeans or over a dress. Jacket 4 – BB Dakota Teddy Bomber Jacket

Outfit 4 – This teddy bomber jacket is under $100 and so cozy! Teddy jackets are one of my essential items when I’m packing cozy for fall/winter travel. Besides denim pants, you can also wear this with faux leather leggings like these. It’s a huge favorite of mine every year and there are so many variations of color, style, texture, fit and price. I love that this color is so unique, but sad that it’s sold out. LOFT makes a nearly identical version – here. The closest color I could find online in another option is this one which is actually pretty close in color. The style is a little bit different.
