Hi friends! Update – we made it to the beach yesterday!! It’s been so good hanging out with my parents and the boys getting to spend time with them. Anytime we visit the beach, I always bring a summer must-have – my favorite one piece swimsuits! I’m sharing affordable swimsuits from Walmart today including this black belted one piece that’s actually just under $15! Crazy affordable and so cute.

Shopping for Mom Friendly Swimwear

If you have trouble finding “mom-friendly” swimsuits, I hear you! Here’s what I look for when it comes to buying flattering swimwear. I almost always wear one piece swimsuits. The only time a make an exception to a two-piece set is if the bottoms are high waisted like these. It’s much more flattering and forgiving in the midsection area. Also a non-negotiable for me when it comes to swimwear is the bottoms need to have full coverage. I’m wearing a small in this black one piece and it fits everything that I look for!

I like to shop for swimsuits that have some sort of design that makes it stand out. The one I’m wearing has the belt detail. Not only is it super cute, but it adds a trendy detail to what would be a classic black one piece. Other details I love are the straps/cutout on this one and this swimsuit has a snake print pattern that I love. Here are links to a few:

One Piece Swimsuits from Walmart Under $30

As for my summer beach accessories, they are also from Walmart. I immediately added this bag to my cart after seeing it. I LOVE the pattern and it makes for the perfect-sized beach bag. It will fit all the essentials! Also, I never go to the beach without bringing a straw hat. I like the size of this one. It’s not too small and also not the size of a super large floppy hat.
