Hi guys! The past few days have been a whirlwind. Mark and I travelled to Chicago this weekend for his school and the only flight we were able to make was cutting really close with our schedule. We decided that there wasn’t going to be enough time to check our bags so I had to throw all my essentials into a my carry-on. Well, if you know me, you know I’m 1.) an over-packer and 2.) always fly with a checked bag so I don’t have to worry about TSA regulations. AKA I don’t own travel-sized beauty products. ???? With that being said, we went for a 9pm Nordstrom run (anyone else guilty of doing this and I got everything I needed.

Anyway! Fast forward, the weather was last night. Everyone’s flight got delayed so we got stuck behind in Chicago for an extra day. I’m honestly now glad that we decided to not check our luggage because it was a nightmare with everyone scrambling. I think we would have waited all night for our luggage. We were also lucky enough to get a room at the airport hotel.
