Happy Friday! I know I’ve been mentioning plaid capes for fall quite a bit lately, but that’s because you need one 🙂 The plaid pattern / colors scream fall and a cape is a great alternative to wearing a jacket. Anytime I can get away with simply wearing a tee and still look “chic” I’m all for it! Tee’s make great layering pieces for fall also, so I have already begun to stock up on those. I just picked up this one in several colors, and this white one from Loft you have probably already seen me wear.
My cape also comes in a different plaid colorway, and I also just ordered this one for only $39! It’s actually feeling a bit like fall outside today so maybe.. just maybe I can start wearing these soon.
What is everyone up to this weekend? We celebrate the high holidays so tomorrow we go to the Synagogue together as a family. Mark grew up Jewish and I converted before we got married! I partake in everything but fasting on Yom Kippur. I know, I need to suck it up and give it a shot. I made it until noon one year. Such a wus! But someone has to take care of these wild boys right? (that’s my excuse) No.. but I did promise myself once the boys are old enough to fast on Yom Kippur that I would tough it out and fast with the family. Now isn’t it at like age 14 that they start fasting? hahahaha j/k.
