Another grey day over here.. kind of over it by now!  Let’s talk about velvet for a bit.  Velvet is back in a huge way this fall and this velvet floral shift dress does not disappoint.  I swear the fit and feel of it lends to a much higher price tag than it actually is.  For $70, this dress is a no brainer!  It has quickly sold out at Nordstrom, but I have ordered things directly from Topshop in the past and it is super easy – free shipping and returns.  As always, make sure to look at the size chart when ordering Topshop.  I ordered both the 2 and 4 and went with the 4.

We have a cocktail event this coming Saturday night and the plan is to wear velvet!  This skirt arrived a few days ago (obsessed) and I just ordered this dress.  BTW for $12 per year ASOS has free 2 day shipping!! Since there is so much cute velvet out right now, I’ve included more of my favorites for you to scroll through at the bottom of my post!
