I bought this cape last year and it just keeps on giving.  As you know I absolutely love capes, especially here in Dallas where for the most part it doesn’t get super cold.  When it does, I like to layer sweaters and even other jackets with my capes for warmth and a different look.  I don’t like to wear a ton of layers under a coat because my arms feel so restricted, but mulitple layers work out perfectly underneath a cape.  On a warmer day, I like to pair it back to a short dress or skirt (for an example you can see how I wore it over a skirt via my instagram feed at the top right column of this page).  Also make sure to check out some of my other favorite capes below!
