Mark and I just got back from a long weekend beach vacay in Mexico and we actually stayed at the same resort we did 10 years ago. I’m working on a trip recap post so more on that later this week! I’m already missing the sunny weather, being able to basically live in my bathing suit and riding bikes to the beach. We had so much fun! With that said, I packed A LOT of  swimwear. These are two stand-out ones I loved. I usually prefer one piece bathing suits with the exception of two pieces if the bottoms are high-waisted. When it comes to swimwear whether a one or two piece, I always look to make sure the bottoms have FULL coverage and this probably can go without saying, but it has to have a flattering fit. We all have areas of our body that we’re more conscious about, so finding a swimsuit that compliments those areas is key.

For solid colored, more simple swimsuits, I look for embellishments and details that make it stand out. For this swimsuit, it’s belted at the midsection and has a mesh panel. This one has the knotted animal print strappy front that I’m obsessed with. Not shown, but the back is really cute. It has a low scoop back and also has those knotted bands. I’m wearing a small in both swimsuits and they fit true to size. My exact straw fedora isn’t linked, but I did find super similar ones that I shared below plus a few other swimsuits you might like that caught my eye.
